Joseph Jones, 27, born December 20, 1995 a native of Houston, Texas, who once had his life spiraled out of control after one night at the University of Kansas, leading to a 5-year prison sentence in the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Despite being confined to a prison environment, I made a commitment to live a life of purpose and not be a product of my surroundings.
I believed that with God’s blessings and my hard work, I could transform my life.
I fought many barriers to entry but managed to obtain a Paralegal Certification and a Business Administration degree while working a full-time job in the manufacturing industry.
In my free time, I created and spoke at community events, led support groups, Spirtual Leader and taught men how to create outstanding resumes for success upon release.
My transformation was evident as I demonstrated rehabilitation and showed strong indicators of success upon release.
